Nita Hunt
CEO,
USA
Health 2 Go, Inc.
Nita has been
active in the health care industry for over 35 years in Health Care
Administration, Nursing, survey compliance with quality documentation
and medical records. Her philosophy is for every individual to be able
to live a quality life to their own expectations and being able to
direct this to their health care staff. This requires being treated
with respect, dignity, love and individuality. All avenues of
rehabilitation, including "specialized" professionals should be utilized
for attaining personal goals, especially upon retirement. For
facilities that care for individuals, the more credentialed personnel
should be the ones to provide proper assessments and treatment plans
with achievable goals that make the client comfortable because their
needs are being met. Continuing education for the staff provides the
knowledge and education for quality care.
Her experience
began as a staff nurse on all shifts, in hospitals on Medical - Surgical
and post operative acute care. She found the love of giving care to the
elderly in a Skilled/Intermediate Care Facility as a charge nurse.
While obtaining a license as a Nursing Home Administrator, she managed
the facility, enhancing the facility's program by the addition of a
post-acute Rehabilitation unit. Nita has worked on compliance measures
for quality care, Medicare, Medicaid and Veteran contract programs,
Budgeting, Policy & Procedures, Nurse Staffing, Admissions, Marketing,
Physicians, Medical Records, Diagnostic Coding, Geri-Psych, as well as,
Customer Satisfaction. Serving in facilities up to 171 beds of SNF, ICF
and a 1,000 bed Military Treatment Facility as supervisor of inpatient
medical records. Advancing from a Staff Nurse to Administration and
Vice President of Operations was a result of the love of dedication to
work, ethics and respect of fellow staff members.
Her knowledge of Federal regulations have been put to good use in helping
facilities gain certification. Consulting to facilities for compliance,
State and Federal Regulations, Facility home-like environment, Customer
satisfaction and most important Communication and Quality medical
records documentation through an Outcome Measurement System monitoring
Quality Improvement have been her most recent endeavors.
"An
Outstanding Health Care Facility is the
Efficiency and Effectiveness of monitoring Quality Care"
